Hi all
I spent 89p yesterday on a bottle of diet Irn Bru (haven't seen that stuff around for ages, it was lush!), and I spent a total of £3 on car parking. I'm claiming the £3 back on work expenses, but the expenses get paid into my debt account, so they're not a real spend... for the purposes of this challenge I am not going to count them, so total spend this week so far is £3.27 :T
My work lottery money is due today, I usually pay off £10 each time (5 weeks worth).I will budegt for this in my next months pay packet. As I have underspent on the petrol budget by £5 and have £6.73 left in the unnecessary spend budget, I will pay £10 and be left with £1.73 to last until the end of the day tomorrow - will be fine as am not going anywhere that will require me to spend.
Hope you're all doing well, have a good day x*** PROPHECY_GRRL****** DEBT FREE AS OF 17/10/11 - I DID IT!!! ***0 -
Hi Guys and Girls and ZTD!!!!
Another no spend for me - but had a phone call from a friend who I worked with years ago and she has asked me out for a meal next Wednesday with a couple of other old work colleagues. It was arranged about 6 weeks ago, but I had completely forgotten and then this challenge wasn't even born then so thought Lent challenge would be long forgotten and I could go. Well now I can't get out of it and I know it will be more than a tenner. Will be drinking diet coke (as driving) so that should only cost me a bit, and maybe if I bought the cheapest meal on the menu it should not be too bad ...... oh I dont want to spend my £10 on a meal that I dont particularly want to go on ....... never mind, s'pose I'll go and make the most of itWhen you were born, you were crying and everyone around was smiling. Live your life so at the end, you're the one who is smiling and everyone around you is crying! :rotfl:0 -
its a NSD for me today

Hi Everyone,
Spent on £2.20 on drinks for our pub quiz. Not bad we didn't win. Came 5th out of 6 teams. Not bad as we normally come last!
Hopefully a NSD today. Need to get petrol though. Ouch!
