Thanks PeachPickle
Managed a NSD, woo hoo. Was very good, made myself 3 cuppas at work instead of spending the equivalent £1.20 on them (plus the extra munchies that seem to find there way to the till each time
). Ate only bits I took to work too.
Felt very healthy so sitting down with a cuppa and 2 small bags of crisps to compensate:rotfl:
OMG... I've just noticed the BBE date..... 10th March 07  . Oh well, they taste fine, I'll pretend I never saw the date

Morning all
Have decided to take the plunge and take up this Unneccesary Challenge - *something* has to stop me spending my much needed ££ on stuff that I don't need!!
Anyway, drew £20 from the cashpoint yesterday (another resolution -- thou shalt not use thy Visa Debit card to pay for anything...tis cash only) and £10 of it went straight into a birthday card for my brother (last family birthday until September), so I have £10 for the week.
Managed a NSD yesterday and am very pleased with myself. Packed lunch and oodles of fruit for lunch today, and no tempting shops or anything nearby, so that's good. Even got petrol yesterday (budgetted for) an ONLY bought petrol! :T
Fingers crossed I can spend nothing all week (although I doubt it), but if I don't then will be significantly less than my old life!
Huge thanks for everyone's support - you're all fab, and big huggles all round. :A

Good Day to one and all!
Well I managed two ebay listings last night.... I am slow with Ebay, I confess! I'd be shocked if they sell but such is!
Day off today and planning on no spends, got plenty to do in the flat... I'm sure I say that every day off!Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
Hi folks, I haven't posted much because I haven't been spending my £10 per week so now have £60 saved for some serious unnecessary spending on Thursday. A friend is going to take me out to do some 'me' shopping. I really need a pair of shoes. I do have dozens of pairs but since I broke ankle and foot can only wear trainers. Doctor says that is great and best thing to wear but I might need/ want to wear a skirt sometime or go somewhere special. I borrowed a pair of DDs shoes when we went out on Saturday for DHs b'day. B'day money now comes out of b'day budget and true to form I asked all the kids (17-22 yr olds) to contribute to the meal cost too.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Hiya all
It's a kind of *forced* NSD day for me today seeing as I managed to leave my wallet at home
I'm getting a tad worried about Friday now as I've had a day's holiday authorised and we're going down to the in-laws for the weekend. Problem is, they have a massive ASDA near them and we always seem to end up spending money on 'stuff' in there even though we have no need to set foot in the place! Some serious willpower needed me thinks. Oh no.... and then there's eating at the services  . I'll be forcing sandwiches on everyone (and BBE march 07 crisps :rotfl: ). Even DS (4 years old) will have to accept that one..
Aren't I mean?April 2021 Grocery Challenge 34.29 / 2500
