Well I went to have my coffee this morning and the kids have drunk all the milk while I was dozing. DH has used all the bread for his sarnies and there's no cheese left! I have 2 shops coming today so I'm damned if I'm walking to the shop to buy milk but they're not coming until 6-8.
I got the milk out of the freezer and it's on the side thawing out. I'm drinking hot water as I hate tea/coffee without milk. I had leftover christening cake for breakfast and gave kids the rest for their 11ses. I was wondering what we'd eat for lunch and thought it might be raw carrots but I found some rolls in the cupboard. So I have avoided temptation. I also found 1p on the floor after I hoovered so that will go into the savings pot.
On the plus side I have just (madly) said I'll do 12.5 hours OT this week as one of the girls has injured her back so I'm going to do 2 extra night shifts and lose my day shift this weekend. Should be some extra money for spends! I'm just trying to not think about the fact that I'm now working 5 nights this week and missing out on my night out.
Realisation hit last night that DD has been invited to 2 bday parties this weekend. Mean Mummy says she's not going to the Friday one because they keep arguing and DD gets invited to every flaming party going. I'm sure that I have had to buy more than 15 presents and they've only been at school since september! However, I still have to buy 1 present. TK Maxx do nice puzzle books for around £3.99 but that's going to have to come out of next months family leisure budget cos my £10 is MINE!
Good luck peeps and hang on to that money.

    Tadaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

According to Wrigleys tho, the cocoa butter makes the gum too soft. Interesting.

It's more the fact that it's the melting than anything else (see here) that makes chocolate what it is, which is why ice cream is no good (melts at too low a temperature) and chewing gum that melted on your tongue isn't very chewy...

Yay, I got a cup of coffee! My milk was thawed enough to dribble out 1 cup of coffees worth. (Am I the only person who thinks I sound very sad when I read this back?!)
Oh, and I found 5p on the fire place.

    I'm back...

    And I've bought a friend...

Gang, this is my new hair.

    Hair meet the gang

    "Hello"

I love my FREE hair so much I've made it into a seperate person completely :rotfl:

Only thing I bought today was beansprouts, carrots and cucumber for stiry fry tonight but that came out of my left pocket as opposed to my right....

Unfortunately my right pocket does look slightly odd due to the 5 x £2 coins creating a rather "bumpy" texture to my right butt cheek

Introducing hair to the bf tonight, will let you all know how that goes :rotfl:

Nothing else planned now for my afternoon except the washing up... my flat currently smells like fajitas (and not in a good way!) :o

I had no idea quidco now offer cashback on ebay! that could be very dangerous for me!

Oh....my....god! Cashback if you spend on EBay through Quidco, how exciting is that! Ithink I've just wet my knickers- opps! sorry! :rotfl: :rotfl: Ciara how does it work? I'm sooooooo excited about this. Mind you, spent £25 on Ebay this weekend so wish I knew about it before today.

No spend for the first 2 days of this challenge, but I think it will be like that until next Monday coz that's when payday is. Spent far too much in the week off  and now don't have a spare £10 to start this challenge; so will carry on the Lent challenge for this week and then begin next week ;)

Welcome to all the new guys ..... let the good times roll.
