sky line rental increase

Hi guys,

I have received a letter saying my sky line rental is going up by £2.25 per month. This represents a 10.1% increase in my total sky phone & broadband package. Is there anything I can do to contest this? I read somewhere they have a 10% promise?

Surely there is a breach somewhere that means i can leave?

Thanks

Its the line rental price that has gone up, you can only compare it to that.

You could ring Sky and cancel but I dont think there is anyone cheaper for line rental to be honest
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

I called them to cancel as I'm out of the 12 months tie in period. They gave me line rental at £3 per month for 12 months.

They might be cheaper for line rental but on this site there are about 3 firms that offer the same package for a much lower price.

The % is increased if its just the line rental (~18%).

Whats to stop them saying they want £20 a month for line rental if thats the case?

Absolutely nothing, because it is not a fixed price contract that you agreed.
You are free to reject the increase, give notice within 30 days, and leave if you wish to.
The other firms do not probably offer the same broadband package as Sky (unlimited).
