* Getting biro pen out of jeans! *

Ugh dd2 decided she was going to draw all over her new jeans with Biro!

I put some vanish spray on them and put them straight in the wash, but it's still there, although greatly faded.

Is there anything that will get rid of them completely?

I have just read in Woman's own mag that a cotton wool bud with a little eau de cologne gets biro out and she sent it in as a top tip, have never tried it so cannot vouch for it , that and I have no eau de cologne!!

I've used " Stain Slayer" sparay to remove pen from a shirt and it was brilliant.

Leave them to soak in milk, this works as my husband got pen all over his new shirt and left it to soak in the milk and it was as good as new again.

Thank you both! :D The milk one sounds great! If that doesn't work I'll try all the other methods.

Fingers crossed!! I'd just call it a day really as she has about 6 pairs of jeans, but these ones fit her so so nicely (trust them to be the ones she wrecks!?)

I've always used Hairspray!! Spray and blot, spray and blot until gone then wash as normal.
Expect the worst, hope for the best, and take what comes!!:o
