Primus - Beyond a joke!

Really? I've telephoned them several times and always got through to speak to someone, even though at times I might have had to wait a bit before they answered, but that's par for the course these days with many utility companies. I've been with Primus 18 months now, and I've never been overcharged or had an incorrect bill. Furthermore I had to contact them last week when for some inexplicable reason my telephone line went dead, the first bit of trouble I've had with them.. I emailed them about the problem Within half an hour they emailed me back with a case number and asked me to phone them I did this later from a neighbour, although I had to wait 25 minutes before someone answered (around 6 pm). The guy dealt with my problem very efficiently and asked me to inform them if my line wasn't restored within 24 hours. Thankfully the problem was fixed within that timeframe.flossy_splodge wrote: »But don't hold your breath!
Been waiting several months now for a refund on an overcharge AFTER I closed my account.
They promisde a call back but don't actually do so.
As has been said so many times on this forum DON'T TOUCH PRIMUS/NEW CALL WITH A BARGE POLE. Unbeleivably appalling customer service right down to the contact number printed on their correspondance is NUMBER UNOBTAINABLE!!!

Sadly one person posting good things about them (do you work for them at all???) does NOT negate others experiences.Really? I've telephoned them several times and always got through to speak to someone,I'm glad you have but your post reads as if you think if you can do it so can I. Firstly, you have no idea what number I've been trying as I haven't posted it so good for you but irrelevant comment. even though at times I might have had to wait a bit before they answered, but that's par for the course these days with many utility companies. I've been with Primus 18 months now,I was with them for 5 years, so what?? and I've never been overcharged or had an incorrect bill. Again, lucky you, but like many others on here I find them to be terrible. We're all entitled to our opinion.Furthermore I had to contact them last week when for some inexplicable reason my telephone line went dead, the first bit of trouble I've had with them.. Wish they weren't garbage but my experience is that they are. End of.:eek:0 -

Well despite a recorded delivery letter that i've had no response to and several more attempts at getting the lack of internet resolved over the phone i've still had no joy. They've decided now to say it's not them that the problem put their line provider openreach but still heard nothing. Looks like a phone call to Ofcom next

So your phone line went dead and you couldn't use your phone. You emailed them and they emailed you back with request to phone them to deal with your problem? Seriously?
They seem even thicker than BT monkeys.0 -
They might have thought I had access to a mobile. I didn't as it happened, but what does it matter? I still managed to phone them and they sorted the problem, and no, I don't work for them (in response to FS) If you thought about it, if Primus are that terrible they would have gone out of business or had their license revoked. There must be plenty of satisfied customers or I expect ME would have deleted their recommendation by now.0
