He enjoyed his 20s far to much unfortunatly.

What is his income? Employed or self employed? Which lenders declined him?

How much are you borrowing? Purchase price?

Speak to your adviser. Express your concerns and see what they recommend.

The fact you are now in this predicament is disturbing. That said if an adviser told you no would you have gone and found one who would fudge it? Not a slur on you but plenty would.

If the lender was aware if the situation then you wouldn't be worrying.

Please speak to your adviser and see if you are comfortable to proceed.

Don't understand why he's fast tracked my application rather than done it the normal way... Kind of makes me feel like he's trying to pull fast one (but I don't know how it works so shouldn't presume).

If I was less analytical person I'd have not thought ahead enough to worry & just taken his word for it. Which is concerning

Will speak with him again tomorrow

You keep speaking to your Adviser, this is the person that persuaded you to keep this information from Halifax in the first place. He will not advise you to tell them if he thinks they will then reject your application.

Either keep worrying and hoping or tell the Halifax.
