Sky on Demand if i cancel Sky?

I am seriously thinking of cancelling my Sky package just wondering if can still get bbc iplayer through the on demand feature?

No,you would loose access to all on-demand content as it's linked to your Sky subscription.0

It says on their website that BBCiplayer doesn't require a Sky subscription, so you may be able to get it. Also states this on some promotional material in tiny small print.0 -
If you don't subscribe you'll not get On Demand of which BBC iPlayer is only one component.That gum you like is coming back in style.0

I believe it states that you do not require a "Sky TV" subscription - however it does not state that you do not need a Sky+ subscription which is required to use the HDD features in order to access iPlayer.It says on their website that BBCiplayer doesn't require a Sky subscription, so you may be able to get it. Also states this on some promotional material in tiny small print.0
