Sky on Demand if i cancel Sky?

I am seriously thinking of cancelling my Sky package just wondering if can still get bbc iplayer through the on demand feature?

No,you would loose access to all on-demand content as it's linked to your Sky subscription.

It says on their website that BBCiplayer doesn't require a Sky subscription, so you may be able to get it. Also states this on some promotional material in tiny small print.

If you don't subscribe you'll not get On Demand of which BBC iPlayer is only one component.

I believe it states that you do not require a "Sky TV" subscription - however it does not state that you do not need a Sky+ subscription which is required to use the HDD features in order to access iPlayer.
