No M.T or indeed any triggers at all but did find a good stock of snakpots so thats something, first shopping trip in ages because of a terrible cold that will be with me 14 days tomorrow, hate to think what state I would be in if I wasn't taking all these Vitimins.

No kleenex twins in westie- hope you feel better soon. My OH is paranoid about getting colds- he does shake hands with lots of people. He has packets of wipes everywhere- seems to work for him as rarely ill - D.G.

Just logged back in after being out for the majority of the day....no Asda's! :eek: I went to watch JLS switch on the Christmas lights in Bristol....funniest part of the evening, bearing in mind I live about 30 mins drive away and there was atleast 5000 people there tonight, about 5 people down from me was the SA that thoroughly and very nastily trouted me a few nights ago :eek: I have been informed she got a good talking to so I felt particularly joyous Bad parts about the thing, the little girl I took moaned the entire time, for 3 hours solid, we ended up leaving after JLS had performed 2 or 3 songs :eek: and I froze my tootsies off and faced a barrage of abuse from people wishing to shove their way infront of me. I'm in so much pain today with my hip, the last thing I needed was persistent shoving! I'm only little!

it has become quite tiresome, i don't care about facebook who's on and who's not, that is why i will not be quiet about this, i'm sure a few regulars on here feel the same but don't want to speak out in case it ruins their chances of an invite to the group. it's quite easy to see who is in the group by the way they have reacted to the incident earlier.

i'm also sure that we are all aware that some deals are found over there and not shared, but in my opinion that's up to the individual where they want to post results and finds. if only some would keep their attitude over on facebook too.
Quite frankly i think that there are enough fantastic people who do come on and share their finds here that we aren'tmissing out anyway.

i do realise that i will not be very popular after writing this post especially as it is against some of the well loved original elite, i used to love the original elites posts too, sadly i hardly recognise them from their usernames anymore:(

By the way, the vast majority of those who actually share on here are also members of the FB group. The whole idea is that this thread is home, but when it gets a bit tiresome on here then we have somewhere to go to in the interim until things quieten down.



to me it has not been tiresome for a while now, i have the suspicion that the birds have eaten all the breadcrumbs that were laid down for you and many others to find your way home

Regarding sharing, I think you really are listening to far too much propaganda! There's stacks of sites and FB groups and the stuff all gets shared one way or another and I for one am all for sharing and always have been. Perhaps it's sour grapes from certain people who just wish to stir it up behind the scenes?

i am not too easily swayed by other peoples prejudices, i do think people are under no obligation to post what they don't want to and should be free to do as they like

Perhaps you don't recognise half the usernames because rather than being a quiet thread hidden away in the 'its gone' section, this thread is now one of the popular threads and is followed by many including plenty of people who have nothing better to do with their time than sit trolling or stirring up trouble. Many just seem reluctant now to get involved.

i was referring to many of the elite who no longer post their lovely chatty posts anymore and the fact that their usernames are sadly missing from here

With a brand new thread started last night by fudgecake, I genuinely thought I'd poke my head in today and have a look, but as I say it didn't look too appealing to stay so I left. I guess there was no need for me to add a little witticism, but hey ho, we are who we are I guess. It's a shame as I know she cares a lot about everyone getting on and am sorry to see the thread in a state that will upset her.

indeed fudgecake is a lovely person, this shines through from her posts and i do hope she is not upset by tonights carry-on, though i'm sure she is a much stronger person than she is given credit for and will be used to such silly goings on by now.

Good evening/morning everyone

Just had a quick skim read, and up to date again

Had a lovely visit to my DS1 today, even called in at A's, so could finally avail myself of the MT's

DS1's house fridge is now full of activias to share, biscuits to be handed around, took him freshly baked scones, and some cream, so don't think his housemates mind his mum calling round from time to time!

Then had a lovely Chinese meal out, same restaurant we went to, when I first took him to uni 14 months ago. Very special place. and lovely memories to hold.

Where will he be I wonder, in just over 2 years time, maybe another country/continent. Time spent with him now, is very precious

Hope you'll all have a good evening.

(oh, and for the first time, used chopsticks for the whole of the meal )
