  • Good afternoon all!

Nice to see the Boots glitch - anyone had success trying it online or is it only working in store? ... I want to take advantage but don't want to have to go out! Still in my pjs! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I have tried messing about with it online but the £10 off is not kicking in unless you actually spend £50 (how dare they!:rotfl:)

  • Thanks for this - the amount of late teen/young adult girls I have seen in this area out in the street or in a shop (seriously!) in their PJs would shock you! AND, believe me, it's nothing to do with Children in Need! They just have no shame

Not sure if it's store specific but just visited Mr T @ L@ng E@t@n and they are selling GB rucksacks for 50p and Team GB/Paralympics hat, flags and very nice keyrings for 10p. They are at the top of the escalator and the staff member is collecting the money at that point - to go to charity - so you don't even have to queue at checkout!

This is just what happens in my house....I have an 18 year old and a 15 year old..one is a very fussy eater..has had Dairylea spread sandwiches every day for his lunch since being at Primary school !! We all sit round the table in the evening but have to cook separate meals which is such a pain...then off to their rooms until supper time....they sometimes eat more for supper than they have done for their evening meal !!
Glad it's not just my family, one twin has marmite everyday in his sandwiches and on his toast in the morning. The other twin will eat anything except courgettes, youngest one is fussy too.
I will miss them when they leave home, but meal times will be bliss!:rotfl:
  • Just dropped in here while having lunch.

Got my free (bar P&P) earrings this morning and they are lovely - can't wear silver, especially plate, but DD can so another stocking pressie :T:T

Had another delivery too, thought it was the Shambala bracelets but a fairly large box. Turned out to be perfume I had ordered from Fragrance Direct on Thursday!! Cheapest I could find Rockin' Rio anywhere (using 10% code) but very impressed with the delivery speed! :)

The trolley key rings were not obvious you had to ask the lady for info on the recycled paints and she gave you one with a couple of leaflets. So not something you could use the circling technique on. ;)

You should have felt the weight of his rucksacK!!
