They have never asked to have school dinners and have a home made meal in the evening. Sometimes I wish the fussy eaters would have meals at school, to save me or DH having to cook 2 or 3 different meals!!
We enjoy sitting together around the dining table, discussing our day etc...then it's off to their rooms on computers/consoles until then are hungry and come back down for supper.
When the twins go to uni, my food bill will drop dramatically, as well as the electricity;)
This is just what happens in my house....I have an 18 year old and a 15 year old..one is a very fussy eater..has had Dairylea spread sandwiches every day for his lunch since being at Primary school !! We all sit round the table in the evening but have to cook separate meals which is such a pain...then off to their rooms until supper time....they sometimes eat more for supper than they have done for their evening meal !!0 -
