Afternoon all,

Just popping on quickly as I'm off out again soon. Just wanted to check something re PP. I understood that whoopsies should not be used as part of a PP. Just had one back with rtc fresh tuna steaks at £1 being compared to sada at £5.99:eek: Wiped out my andrex PP.
Phoned up CS but the guy didn't seem too au fait with PP T&C and thought that anything I bought would be compared. T&C/FAQ clearly say to me that where a fair comparison can't be made....etc etc.
He said he would have to refer it higher for someone else to decide.
Think I'll have to phone again and hope I get someone who knows the T pp policies better. Anyone else had this problem?

Could some kind person please tell me if there is a minimum spend on the GTA pre release 500 points thingy.

I have no experience in video gaming so am a bit in the dark. I am assuming you just take the box to the till with your CC and get the points or is there more to it than that lol?!!

Just done a wul shop and come back to find it has changed to 2 for £3.00 now on ms , serves me right for dithering ,should have gone yesterday.

unfortunately the tesco pp does compare whoopsies:(

it's the asda one that doesn't :T(well fruit/veg and chilled that have a reduced whoopsie label with a barcode but beware of reduced dry items where they peel the whoopsie label off and input the price manually these compare)

it has been quoted in t&c's before on the thread sorry i'm trying to get kids sorted so can't find it for you

You are paying £5 to pre-order GTA for next year when it is launched. As a bonus, Tesco are offering 500 clubcard points with every order. So in effect you are buying 500 clubcard points for £5. You get your 500 points and a till slip for the game that you redeem when it is launched. If you don't want the game, you can bin the till slip or give it away (or possibly sell it on Ebay if T has a super cheap price or the game is out of stock on launch).

So yes, you take the box to the till and get the points, but keep hold of the till slip in case you need it later.

No, just take the empty game case to a till, they scan it, you pay £5 and get 500 points straight away plus a slip from the till for the £5 off the game should actually want it when its released.

Nope its that easy. take the empty box to any checkout and pay £5. You'll get 500 points on your receipt. Keep receipt to redeem the £5 off the game if you want it, if not... you've paid for 500 points.

Thinking whether it can be cancelled?
