Bought 2xMT, Vinnies square trigger and activa (a, ahem, few times ...) this afternoon after 3.30. All came back on APG as expected.

Just making up for my failed Thornton's premium shops!! I am going in at different times to return the odd failed shop as a couple more to go and trying to get different staff. Of course, times like this you wish you hadn't used a credit card if they decide to audit ...

Please can you explain the DTD thing to me, I have tried to search but to no avail I see from the first page that it says "Double the Difference" and I have seen some posts that say "Double the Discount" Are they the same thing? and what is it please?

Apologies in advance if this is a stupid question and if I have missed the explanation somewhere

yes they all glitched I was worried I'd gone over the 10 items but they showed as 5 diff items:)

Ooh Harrods are doing free delivery - I have found these Emma Bridgewater union jack caketins reduced from £34.95 to £9.99 - I was thinking of splitting them into 3 presents and filling with Freddos !! (then giving them to myself for xmas). They also have some tea towels and oven gloves less than half price and have a look at the "seasonal reductions". xmas decs are mostly bogof as a special treat. hope it helps someone...

I've copied you for my baking mad SIL's Christmas and then ordered an Advent Calendar to go direct to my mum from my boys. Family tradition of exchanging advent calendars here. She will love getting something through the post from Harrods to cheer her up as she is having a bad time healthwise. Wouldn't normally spend £6.95 on one but she's worth a bit more for the feelgood factor

Decided against selection boxes at Seacroft (only the medium cadbury's selection box on 3 for 1 offer ) I need contents to all be similar size (large selection box) not treat size for those giving whole thing avoid seasonal goods aisle they were all sold out, but two huge pallets near entrance (in aisle to the left of the escalator).

Got 10 minutes at Home Bargains at Crossgates - they have some cute cups (elf and rudolf designs) at 49p each which will be great for snowman soup or filled with chocs and cellophane. Also Magic Snow test tubes

I remember that last year they had a stonking deal on selection boxes (sure I got some with 7 items in for 99p or something) but not on yet. Hope they repeat it. They have large cadburys one for £2.50 (normally £4, currently 'reduced to £3 T). I stock up when reduced for kids party bags (DD birthday Feb) - larger ones have chocs all same size - medium one mixed sizes. So will take a chance and hold on.

glad it worked i did mention earlier that if you have different flavours it would be ok ive done it with the s&g 8 of each before
