HTH
I used an APG today of 8.00 in my local tescos. Fact.0 -
Actually thats a good point, why do the till persons always have to ht the button to do a mini print off of your shopping to check you have bought the right items for use with MOCS. I've only bought 12 items for goodness sake your attention span cant be that short
As my OH says they must have been trained at Valco
They do it in my store to check the value of the purchase against the voucher, then query why I have a voucher for 85p when the product is 84p "Did you buy the right size of the product" of course there might be 2 sizes of the 5beanz, but 1p difference I don't think so.:rotfl::rotfl:0 -

After eights no longer on comparison, shame cos they added £1.65 to apg.
Tesco accept apg vouchers and £5 off £40 ( and they don't Normally mark receipt )
Had a very productive day today
Edit - looks like in the time I typed you'd already figured it out 1
- double the apg. Have 2 mt apg recurring and use in tesco first - got 2 £40 shops today for £12ish !!!!
Not advisible to follow this action , Each to their own of course but in my book that is classed as theft as well as fraud.
really goes against the grain of money saving. It`s nice to be important, but its more important to be nice.

You lot are so amusing with your little tiffs!
Just been to my local Asda, not sure if it's exciting enough for this thread, but all the Halloween chocs - Scream Eggs, Smarties Pumpkins, Beetle Chocs etc. were scanning at 12p.
Nom, nom, nom.
Now, play nicely.

Thanks guys
Yes, total guarantee - they've also fixed the water dispenser which has never worked since we moved in.
I'm OK using the garage as coldstore and shopping for bits - it was using up the stuff already in there but pretty much done that now - the boys are sick of yogurts and OJ
My only stock pile was Innocent Juice but I've offloaded that
Just dreading whats coming next - electrical stuff always goes in batches doesn't it and my washer and drier are both 10y old too
If you have a local Freecycle group you can sometimes get a fridge, it wont be anything fancy but it would tide you over for the next few days and then you could freecycle it afterwards again.“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Which reminds me Tosco today they have the Special K Honey clusters 2 sizes both £2.50 1 was the 353g box and the other was 375g.
I got the larger box and then noticed they were BBE August 2012, so I started dropping the out of date boxes on the floor to the other shoppers looked in disgust, until I explained they were 2 months out of date 14 packs in total.
I left them on the floor whilst I went for a Manager, came back with him and some kind person had put them all back on the shelf and somebody was just getting a box, I told them they were 2 months out of date and they dropped the box on the floor too, then the manager did the same with the other 13 then he appologised.0 -
Interesting, Ive never thought of getting a gift card - is it a Sada card? I didnt know you could do this as part of a £40 shop, several times Ive spend close to £30
Yes it was the Muppets design one....I've not read the T&Cs of the £5 moc so not sure if its allowed or not, but I said to SA about being £6 short of the £40 spend, and just added it and SA scanned the moc fine. I know you cant (or T&Cs say no anyway) buy a giftcard solely using an apg.
hthhoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!0
