HI Everyone,
Does anyone know if you can use a asda APG in Tesco's as they are now accepting certain coupons? I wouldn't think they do but just wondered.
Have a good evening.0 -
WW meal for dinner tonight with nice glass of Hardy's !! Am getting addicted to the sp stuffing for 15p - I keep a container in the fridge for picking at!
Ooh Harrods are doing free delivery - I have found these Emma Bridgewater union jack caketins reduced from £34.95 to £9.99 - I was thinking of splitting them into 3 presents and filling with Freddos !! (then giving them to myself for xmas). They also have some tea towels and oven gloves less than half price and have a look at the "seasonal reductions". xmas decs are mostly bogof as a special treat. hope it helps someone...
There is also an option on the delivery page to get a personalised gift card which I have seen before and is a very nice A5 card with gold thread. The delivery arrives in a nice Harrods box!

Congratulations on spectacularly missing the point. Did you have special training or were you born obtuse?
Someone has caused a lot of problems in the asdas i visit. Now every apg has to be checked by a supervisor even if its pence because of someone 'abusing the terms'. Newbie, you use the same stores as me dontcha :rotfl:Please don't judge me. you couldn't handle half of what I've been through.0 -
oh lawd - thread's turning weird again, I'm out0

Yes you can. I used an 8.00 apg tonight in Tescos. They were more than happy to accept it. I took the receipt with me, just in case but they didn't seem interested. I guess they're just desperate to get us over there and away from Asda.0 -

Doubt it, my wife helps run the playgroup, both my kids went to the school, my neighbour is one of the (three) teachers, and I know both the playground supervisors.
I'll ask the head.0 -
Interesting, Ive never thought of getting a gift card - is it a Sada card? I didnt know you could do this as part of a £40 shop, several times Ive spend close to £30afternoon folks
thanks to Fudgecake for the new thread
only caught up to page 9 so far....DD2 asleep so have plenty of time
I did a MT shop yesterday (my first one...and have only done 3 other biscuit/Dairy Box ones so havent hammered this glitch)....but also realised I needed a few bits like milk, bread, potatoes, veg etc....shoved everything through together, including some whoopsies..came to £34 so added a £10 gift card so I culd use my £5 off voucher
was expecting the veg etc to reduce my apg....but I checked 3 hours later and came up as £16.16....didnt think anything of it as assumed it would be capped....saw all the talk earlier so have printed it and its £16.16
mixed feelings about this one...it was an accident...was only meant to return about £14 max....so will be taking it in with a print of the new T&Cs and using it to buy the kids some new hats/scarves etc, so less likely to be trouted!
It wasnt deliberate, and I'm happy to keep mine below £15 in the future.....I'm wondering if A are doing this so they can keep a closer eye on glitches, and even track customers a bit betterSaying that, mine came back at 2.30pm yesterday no probs...my shop was done at 11.21am so there was no delay in processing the apg results!
hope everyone is well and happy....I know theres a few on here needing humungous hugs....so sending warm wishes and hugs to everyone in need“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
Not sure what I've missed. Just a few points that might help some of the kind people how have helped me. Maybe you already know but no harm in sharing.
After eights no longer on comparison, shame cos they added £1.65 to apg.
Tesco accept apg vouchers and £5 off £40 ( and they don't Normally mark receipt )
Had a very productive day today
Edit - looks like in the time I typed you'd already figured it out 1
- double the apg. Have 2 mt apg recurring and use in tesco first - got 2 £40 shops today for £12ish !!!!0
