  • Have a glass of water before each meal, esp breakfast
Limit to 1 slice of bread per day
Don't sweeten anything you can tolerate without it
Don't eat high amount of carbs after 6pm, but don't omit altogether
Don't deny yourself a treat completely
Try not to use processed food - fresh is best
Most importantly, be aware of calorie content of everything - and count them
I found a site to log eveything you eat/drink and all exercise really helped...
    Good luck!
If I can do it, anyone can!

    Thank you :)
Will be trying my best :)

Just a little bit of normality now...
David, your dog is beautiful. I'm looking to get a Cocker Spaniel sometime soon - do you know what they are like around kids? I have 4 under 9 years old. We lost our labrador back in March and they've asked for a new dog ever since. Thought we'd go for a smaller house pet this time.... Any advice?? TIA
Yes get pet insurance. More than have been brilliant paid up everytime straight away.:T
I know I bang on about this reguarly but has saved us a fortune last op 7 days ago will be in total about £2500-£2600 after follow up.
Ours are springers and the dog is totally soft loves everyone and wants to play with anyone/dogs. The !!!!! the one who has now had 5 pretty big ops in less than 2 years of life is a nervous wreck will let anyone do anything to her (vet wise)but would not trust her totally with someone she did not know she would try and run away but if cornered I dont know.
Fear makes them react strange as you will already know and she is one fearfull dog.
I am sure you will be pretty safe with cockers

Although I risk a backlash i would like to point out that I found the OP by using the "search this thread" button at the top of the page and then searching for "go cat"

Scrolling back to the first entry revealed the OP :D
