Our local RSPCA are micro chipping for £10 and I think a lot of places have deals going on. I had my cats (5) done at a vets on the other side of town for £10 each.

I always shop around even for vet prices :rotfl:

Done leaflet drop, FB and spoke to all the dog walkers, rang vets etc, now I just feel useless sat here waiting :(

If ever I needed a glitch to take my mind off things it's now glitch fairy.

Sorry she's not back yet, ambush the postman tomorrow & show him a photo

They have uncapped the APG? I've 3 x receipts which I've been using at around £8ish. Wonder what there reasoning is to cap then uncap? Anyone tried a higher one I'm pretty sure it would sound the trout alarm

    hi

just used a 15.32 APG in sada about 20 mins ago thankfully no alarm nothing
like you i thought i was going to get carted away

    :D

  • in the evening my house smells like wild berrys yum yum ilight about 20 candles every nite saves electricity :eek:

That must cost a bomb in candles? Mrs P loves the scented candles and usually go for the glade bowls when on offer at £2 wouldn't pay full price at £4

Went to Mr T and got some pork, joint cost £8.53 instead of the £4.25 it should have cost by my calculations, looked lovely!!! Could almost taste it!!!!

Trotted off to customer services and explained I'd been overcharged, lady phoned somebody who claimed it wasn't that product it was one next to it that had the yellow labelled reduction!

I said, No, it was definately this product, so off we trotted (Pork, get it?) to look at the shelf and sure enough it was the correct product.

Customer service lady called another lady over to check, she said yes it's definately the correct product although the bar code wasn't the same as the yellow label.

I pointed out that there were two of these joints on the shelf and neither of them had the same code as each other or the yellow shelf label, may be the barcode was done by price?

Customer service lady said well as it's the correct product I will give you a refund of the overcharge.

I waited a couple of seconds, then mentioned DTD?

The lady who wasn't CS said we don't do that anymore. I said, I think you do.

CS lady then said I can't give you DTD as the bar codes don't match!!

I said, so even though it's the same product you can't give me DTD? OK, please can I have a refund then as I'm sure I should have had DTD!

I was refunded my £8.53 and the pork was sadly returned to the shelf!

On returning home I still felt aggrieved so contacted CS by phone, who apologised profusely and said, yes you should have got DTD without having to ask for it.

Lovely lady appologised for my embarrasment and has promised me a £10 gift card as an apology x

Sorry the story was soooo long!

I too was only offered TD and when I mentioned DTD the CS girl said that's always done seperately and a form needs to be filled out.:rotfl: She had a whispered conversation with another CS person and came back and gave me DTD.:)

The "Legion" has closed. Only the Roop left in that village now.

sad times for some , i remember when Snap and I were courting and we stayed at a des-res BB in thomastown (almost opposite T's) , one evening we ventured to the Legion for a hot shandy and a cold pie , happy times .

Asda's again....they had the Flash Trigger sprays reduced to 25p this morning.
The lovely SA who served me asked if I'd seen them and told me where they were....she said there was a shelf full.
Unfortunately they'd all gone, so I can't tell you which variety it was, but she did say it was the big bottles.
