Just been making the most of the £5 credit on amex card, at the listed small shops. Spent the morning in Reading and got

    Suitcase strap - £5.49
Suitcase Padlock (usa approved) - £5.49
    Hush puppy socks - £5.50
Lunch of BLT, cake & Water - £5.34
    2 x model cars - £5
    Glasses screwdriver & cleaning cloth - £5.90
2 x pies + roast beef - £7.60 (min spend of £7.50 in this shop, but lovely stuff)

Plus a free hot choc for Cafe Nero on Priority moments and free soap from LUSH with my Recycle voucher. :D
Shame it cost £5 to park in Reading

can I ask what the triggers are?

    Thank you :-) :-)
The triggers are listed on the first page of this thread.

  • They have uncapped the APG? I've 3 x receipts which I've been using at around £8ish. Wonder what there reasoning is to cap then uncap? Anyone tried a higher one I'm pretty sure it would sound the trout alarm
  • Went to Mr T and got some pork, joint cost £8.53 instead of the £4.25 it should have cost by my calculations, looked lovely!!! Could almost taste it!!!!

Trotted off to customer services and explained I'd been overcharged, lady phoned somebody who claimed it wasn't that product it was one next to it that had the yellow labelled reduction!

I said, No, it was definately this product, so off we trotted (Pork, get it?) to look at the shelf and sure enough it was the correct product.

Customer service lady called another lady over to check, she said yes it's definately the correct product although the bar code wasn't the same as the yellow label.

I pointed out that there were two of these joints on the shelf and neither of them had the same code as each other or the yellow shelf label, may be the barcode was done by price?

Customer service lady said well as it's the correct product I will give you a refund of the overcharge.

I waited a couple of seconds, then mentioned DTD?

The lady who wasn't CS said we don't do that anymore. I said, I think you do.

CS lady then said I can't give you DTD as the bar codes don't match!!

I said, so even though it's the same product you can't give me DTD? OK, please can I have a refund then as I'm sure I should have had DTD!

I was refunded my £8.53 and the pork was sadly returned to the shelf!

On returning home I still felt aggrieved so contacted CS by phone, who apologised profusely and said, yes you should have got DTD without having to ask for it.

Lovely lady appologised for my embarrasment and has promised me a £10 gift card as an apology x

Sorry the story was soooo long!

Learn something new every day they seem to be able to find a tablet in whatever we hide it in. :T:T

Grated cheese works for me. It's one of Purdy's favourites so I give her a little to start, them mould some around her tablet and she wolfs it down....saying that I wormed her yesterday with the 50p worming tablets I got in Asda. They were really meant for small dogs but I read the packet and it's the same stuff as that for large dogs so I just gave her 2 boxes....so 8 tablets which I just stuck in her food. I did think I'd find them there when she'd finished her dinner but the bowl was clean :)

Still plenty of pet reductions in A's again this morning.....apparently there's a pet promotion coming soon and they are clearing old stock
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.

Thanks for your reply. I have been following this thread for sometime but it moves so quickly!! Sorry if I sound thick, but I get easily consfused (due to a stroke, several years ago).

A massive thank you to all who post here, you seem a friendly bunch of people!

After you look at the triggers etc make up a wee list and post it on here- somebody will check it afore you go to the shops to make sure you are doing the right thing.

    2 MT PLUS
    1 trigger

    PLUS 8-10 fillers
