I always put any tabs for woofa in a bit of hotdog or piece of cheesefairclaire wrote: »Afternoon everyone
It was my 25th wedding anniversary yesterday. Yesterday afternoon I was a bit shocked when one of these was delivered
Now we have needed a new fridge freezer for ages and this one is lovely and will go wonderfully in the new kitchen when it's finished. But I was rather dismayed to discover that this was my anniversary pressie:(. My OH has always been the practical type....I've had a dishwasher, coffee maker, dyson and other practical gifts over the years and I've just gotten used to it but I had thought that as it was a special anniversary he might buy me something a bit more personal or special. Needless to say I spent the rest of the day in a bit if a strop not helped by him commenting that he thought that it was a great idea because it was silver and appropriate for a silver wedding pressie:mad:
Well anyway I'd gotten over it by this morning. Went out to do a few things this morning then went to pick OH from hospital at lunch time. Just after we got home there was a knock at the door, It was a man from a car dealership delivering a brand new shiny one of these
So guess how stoopid and selfish and ungrateful I feel now?:o. Luckily OH just thinks he's funny (nice to see he still has a sense of humour:cool:)
New car for me has been on the cards for ages. the one I have now is practically falling apart but With all the goings on I haven't a chance to sort a new one out. So I have had a harsh lesson about being ungrateful and am off now to find me knee pads for all the grovelling I'm going to be doing.
Sorry for the long post:o
Oh WOW what fab pressies - belated happy anniversary
Been into MrA this morning - a lady was complaing as CS that she couldn't get apg as the system was telling her she had reached her limit - she hadn't done 10 shops, they were trying to tell her it was a known problem  Only a badly bashed box of tissues left in my local A.0 -
Congratulations on your Silver Anniversary fairclaire - and what a lovely hubby you have
Hope Molly is better soon 3dogs - and that you manage to get those tablets down her without too much trauma (to you!)0 -

I know the owner of that B&B. The husband died a couple of years ago. He was a keen motorcyclist. Lovely guy.0 -

The bus driver was a very young Polish guy, hes got a MT for his girlfriend, I dont generally do that sort of thing but I felt a real need in myself to be positive.
Assuming the APGs come through OK It will have cost me about £3 - I feel a lot better, I've had a kiss, a handshake, three smiles, and four people are happier, now that is a bargain!Tiger

3 dogs had reported the pork the day before but I couldn't find the post
thank you for jogging my memory and giving us the heads up on the chicken. The only problem I had was the CS lady didn't have a clue how to work the dtd out so we lost about £3 on the chicken.
The till is programmed for dtd. CS just has to put in what it should be per kg, price paid per kg and total cost and it automatically works it out for them. At £4.50 kg instead of £2.00 per kg you should have been paid 50p per kg to take it away.0 -
On the giving dogs tablets theme. I always give mine them wrapped in a part slice of cheese or salami, and I've recently discovered that if I gently hold their "chin"s up while they eat them, they don't spit the tablet on the floor.Hope is not a strategy.0
