Talking of Clubcard - I am holding off redeeming my points for Goldsmith vouchers as I have a feeling that last year it was suddenly changed to 4x as christmas approached. Am I imagining that or did it happen? And, is it likely to happen this year? I spoke to a nice man at Clubcard the other day and he just said he'd not heard anything yet.

Yeah they where x 4 last year, im waiting to see too if its the same this year, if not i may try my luck and see if they can extend a few vouchers as i have some that run out on the 31Dec

Has anyone had any experience complaining to Hovis? I had a really strange loaf of bread the other week - it was really heavy, under half the loaf weighed 500g when the whole loaf was only meant to be 800g and when we tried toasting it, it wouldn't colour and smelt really yeasty. Anyway I contacted them through their website on 29th October and apart from the automated response have heard nothing :(

I did x4 last year. I see on website they saying get them early to avoid disappointment, I think this is ruse, hope they do x4 as been saving for 4k omega. If not I change them for the sales, try get discount when paying too, however some shops won't do this so I buy something take it back, put money on giftcard then haggle.....

Thanks for confirming this - fingers crossed it happens soon. As I mentioned, I rang Mr CC and he was really lovely; he extended some vouchers for me, so I'm sure it'll be no problem neosi.

Ive never done it myself but ive seen posts from peeps before and they managed it. They just rang the CC number and said they were saving up for something and could they extend the ones that where due to run out.
