The flump didn't work, she spat it out several times, until Bess raced over and grabbed it  However, Bess is very experienced, she ate the flump and spat out the tablet. Decided to coat the tablet with Manuka honey and, apart from being very messy, that worked fine :rotfl: The honey should ease her throat too
I cover the tablets in cream cheese now when I have to and never had a problem with that x:)Now on the 5:2 diet.

I know its debatable whether you'd shop in Harrods because of the fur issues with them but my finger just slipped on their website and made a little order, some of the reduced stuff makes nice little gifts and its free delivery too
Can you tell I'm doing some Xmas shopping while I'm working..LOL

Has anyone returned anything that has been purchased with doubled up clubcard vouchers??
If so how did they refund you??
I doubled up my vouchers to buy the galaxy tablet that's on offer at Mr T & in my haste didn't check if it was even included in the promotion.
I'm hoping that if I now spend those vouchers on an item from direct & return it, hopefully they'll transfer the balance to a giftcard?? Which I can then spend on the galaxy tab.
Thankyou0 -

I haven't kept up with things on this thread or the old one (hangs head in shame and stomps off to the chopping block) but i hope the old and new are shaking the glitches and bargains from the trees .
Have a nice day and lets hope your bags are bulging by the end of it .I was young once , now I get older all the time .0 -

Many thanks:)
Haven't been to the s/market for about 10 days, although popped into Ts really quickly the other night, and the Fireworks stall was still there with a £5 conditional spend flyer on the counter top. It was specific to A/sh*t - probably due to the new Morries opening across the road, but might be worth checking in other stores around the country.
I really should do a big shop as we will be eating fresh air tomorrow. I'm in a real muddle as to the good buys at the moment - must sit down, have good read and write a good list..oh, I can't do that til I can find my desk which is covered in paperwork, til receipts etc!0 -

I bought the very posh looking Thornton's Christmas Collection as the trigger. Hope there's some useful fillers there for someone
Hope everyone is well/comfortable/happy today
Saw on the tv this morning that so many families will spend this Christmas in BnB's because they are homelessI knew it was bad with more and more families turning to food banks but that really made me tearful. Today I am feeling grateful that we have our home, central heating and food. Our local church offers food hampers every Christmas and last year I queued for hours with our DD in buggy as we were in desperate need so it just brings home how much better off we are this year. Despite my mam's attempts to convince me to register again this year, I know there are much worse off than us and I'm sure many families's Christmas's will be much better this year thanks to this thread. Thank you everyone on here that contributes and helps me and my family. Also, thank you to those of you who listen to and respond to my comments, sometimes having a chat is just as much help
