Bit of a long story but here goes. My girlfriend and I have been having problems and decided to go our separate ways. I started to look at cancelling things and the first thing I did was cancel my internet with IDNet. They replied to my request on Thursday immediatley saying my connection would cease on Tuesday.
Now, my girlfriend and I had a chat on Friday night and decided we wanted to stay together so I emailed IDNet on Saturday and asked if it was possible to have my MAC code instead of removing the ADSL connection all together but have yet to receive a reply (I don't think they're open on weekends).
My question is, is it possible to change your mind and not cancel internet on a line (especially at such short notice)? If it is and we can get a MAC code, we need to look at cutting the cost of our BB as its currently costing £35 pcm. We'd like to stay on ADSLMax and need around about 15GB bandwidth allowance a month for about £15-£20 tops. Any suggestions on an ISP that can meet our needs?
If it is too late to change our minds, and ADSL is removed, we need to look at starting over, but can't afford the £50 activation and don't want to be tied into a 12 month contract, what are our options??
Any advice would be much appreciated.

A list of ISP's can be found here

We are with NewNet, £17.95 per month, 8mb, 12GB download limit.
They have a one month contract, no migration fees.
Good luck0
