The arguments you have outlined are quite strong. I would just suggest you monitor relative use if the car and resist any requests by him to put on a private reg with his initials, go faster stripes, fancy wheels etc..

No me neither, partly on the grounds of the "big brother" objection to being "watched" 24/7 and partly because I'm not always so good as sticking to 30 myself!
