Is there likely to be any help available to buy a replacement fridge

Glad the fridge is okay op but it could be worth her keeping an eye out for mini fridges on freecycle. I see them come up a lot and it could be a back up or even of use if she ever needs to cut her bills and has very little to keep cool.Living cheap in central London :rotfl:0

For anyone living in Nottingham, The Nottingham Law Centre (Hyson Green) can do referrals for those on benefits to apply for essential furniture and appliances at Family First (reconditioned items that are deemed safe and in reasonable condition). At one time, you were able to apply for up to 5 or so items, I think, at no cost. Just the sundry £5 delivery. I'm not sure sure what their policy is thesedays.0

Please don't pass her on to crisis loans for the cost of this item as they won't award her money for this. Social Fund abolished Crisis Loan "items" over a year ago now. Good luck0

The Salvation Army might be able to donate one to her.
edit: I see it sorted itself out, very good x1,2 & 5p: Christmas day food £9.31
10 & 20p: misc savings £2.70
50p: Christmas presents £3.50
£2: holidays £2.000
