no, and i notice that instead of the box with the options appearing at the bottom of the screen like it used to i now get a box with the options in the middle of the screen. this is not normal for ie9.

I have switched to outlook and it can handle attachments fine

if it were to work with a different browser then that would mean just as much hassle as just forwarding it to yahoo. it is not possible to try a different machine.

It would help to diagnose the problem tho, rather than being a long term solution

ok, i tried it in chrome and it opened ok. so i guess there is either an issue with the settings in ie9 or one of hotmail and ie9 doesnt like the other due to some fault with one of them.
