Templeton Emerging Markets Funds

There have been better performing Trusts in the Emerging Markets than Templeton - and I say this from historical figures over 10 years. Some good examples are Genesis Emerging Markets, Aberdeen Smaller Asian Markets, Scottish Oriental, Edinburgh Dragon etc
The argument of low cost trackers v/s expensive managed trusts/funds is very old but personally, I dont mind paying 1.5%-2% in total expenses when the trusts/funds beats the trackers by a huge margin over a 5 or 10 year period.
TEMIT, as the graphs show is mid table but if you are looking to keep the money invested for close to 10 years an above then you may opt for riskier trusts. You wont do bad with TEMIT either
Cheers
