in Water bills
We have lived here for 6 years and we've paid 30-40 per month til 4 months ago when they dropped our payments to 26. There's 3 of us in a 3 bed detached. After speaking to others on the estate they pay a lot more.
I'm trying so hard to be thrifty, but it doesn't come naturally. You lot are an inspiration!

I am assuming you are metered.
Sometimes, if you build up a credit balance, they reduce the DD for a year and then it will revert to a higher charge.
It is very easy to see how much your bill is likely to cost by going to the ST website and checking the price for water and sewerage per cubic metre. Then check your meter to see how much water you are using and use the cubic metre price.
Don't forget to include standing charges an 'measured drainage'(if you have to pay that charge - many don't)0 -
You need to work out your consumption not worry about anyone else's as that is really a waste of time.
On a meter you pay for what you use and if you build up enough credit the payments will go down.
Check your bill rather then the payment schedule as that will give you a much better idea of what is going onThere is a race of men that don't fit in; A race that can't stand still;
