Ebay - am I doing something wrong?

Feedback is optional
I know it is, but as a new seller, Ebay are witholding my money until I start building up my feedback and stars, and are also restricting me to listing 10 items a month, which makes it hard work to get that payment restriction lifted.
I've left my feedback for the buyers but if it is going to be this difficult to get my money from Ebay (ie, having to wait for buyers to give me feedback to get the restriction lifted), I'll just give up and not bother selling anything else.

You could have just waited the 21 days - which you knew before you listed.
