heating help

looking for some information on the best way to up grade my boiler,
I stay in a cottage and its on two levels the cellar was converted to a bedroom bathroom and livingroom and the heating is run by LPG gas radiators and boiler at the top of the house i have a wet dry heating which is rubbish, once on the radiators a warm but never really heat up once on it cools down and i only have half the radiators on to try heat the radiators up the boiler is about 20 years old .... now what im looking to do if have one boiler to run the whole house heating system ... will the lpj radiator be able to run from electric or would i have to get a whole new system, the lpj boiler is in a cupboard below the wet dry radiator thanks .
