Norton Tab security is normally £30 so very worthwhile :)

You had me up to the point where you said Norton was useful ;)

No, I'm sticking with the Nexus 7 32gb. As a money saving device the samsung is a good deal, but my techy inner self has over taken this!!

Can any of you more knowledgeable moneysavers please give me an idea as to what would be best for an 18 year old.... one of these or a Nexus 7?

I haven't a clue when looking at "specs" and stuff :o

    TIA

If all you are doing is web browsing then the Samsung will be fine. It's not a bad machine and if it was this price before June when the Nexus came out they would have flown out quicker than they are now. You won't go wrong with either machine and £119 is cheap for a quality piece of kit. I fancy the Nexus as it's a better processor and has the newer version of Andorid but there's not much in them and you won't be disapointed with either machine.

Yes, 'mine' arrived today as well (OH Xmas pressie). Did a dummy run for a few pages on the Samsung website to see how easy the claim process would be. You need to wait fifteen days before claiming, and the purchase day is counted as day 1. CPW are not listed in the drop down list of retailers so you need to select 'Other' under O and not at the bottom of the drop down list as it says it is. I assume that the packing slip counts as an invoice for their purposes and not a delivery note as it does say 'invoice' in the top right hand corner. In the Ts and Cs it says 'You must then upload a copy of your proof of purchase' so don't lose that slip in the parcel folks !!!!!!!!!!!!
  • doesnt john lewis price match? also if so ud get a longer guanantee?
alos does the samsung support flash? or the nexus was going to go for ipad but it doesnt have flash adobe...
  • just checked and i dont think nexus has adobe...
