I remember many years ago hearing about a contractor tarmacing a drive. The tarmac had been sprinkled with white stone chips to give a bit of contrast. When they ran out of white stone chips they threw down some some sugared almonds. Later on people were wondering why the dogs were licking the drive.I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.0 -
Sounds like a variation of adding Fairy Liquid to cement to make it easier to work with. Some people say this a great idea - others say you should never do this ...............................................0

Again, that's a very cowboy sort of thing to do. It's the poor man's approach to entraining concrete and should be avoided as it will affect the overall strength of the mix. You can use a plasticiser to make it easier to work with or something like febmix to entrain it.0 -
