When you drive in, if there are people swarming around the car don't open up
and setup straight away. Sometimes it can be very intimidating and confusing trying to remember your prices when a dozen scavengers are rifling through your boot.

I generally park up and then sit in the car for 10 mins until
    the vultures move on.

    Hope this helps :)

most defineatly, that really annoys me when they see you stop the car and they dive on you:confused:

You need to use a bit of psychology. Whatever you want for your item, add a bit. People love a bargain and will want to knock you down, resulting in your getting less than you would like. So, if you want a fiver for something, say it's £6.50. They will then probably offer you a fiver. Take a breath. Pretend you are thinking, and then say yes.

Remember the dealers!!!!! They arrive en masse as you are setting up. If you have something they want they will hassle you as you are unpacking. Keep your wits about you. They are trying to confuse you and get you to part with something at a knock down price.

Have you got a bum bag? Safest thing for your money. Try and restrict drinks. Who is going to take your kids to the loo if they need it?

Are you absolutely sure no one can have the kids for you or pitch in and help you?

Oh goodness yes Suncream!!!! Really smart Jet77! I remember doing a bootsale once and we went lobster coloured. Hadn't bargained on the sun beating down. Hats too if you can get your littlies to wear them.

Plenty of water too but I do worry about the loo situation. If push comes to shove would they use the potty in the car??

OMG yes as Jennie says restrict the drinks.(smile and be friendly to your next stall holder then if the worst comes to the worst they may watch your stall! unless your like me and get stuck next to "Gonzilla":rotfl: )
It is quite intimadating when you first pull up and the vulchers pounce but as raptorman says sit tight and wait for them to move on.

:rotfl:Will really be thinking about you:rotfl: you will have to let us know how you get on!!!!

Hope you all come home with loads of ££££'s
