Brief visit to say Hi. Life here is even more chaotic and hectic than usual but should calm down a little after the weekend. I'm organising a Christmas Fair in aid of the Drop-in and not only doing a stall but organising sausage and bacon rolls until 12.00 and a soup and sweet lunch till 2.00. I am trying to finish the 12 Christmas Stockings I am knitting for my stall. I've finished 10 and with a bit of luck and a following wind will get the other 2 done before Saturday. They look quite bright and cheerful and I might have a go at getting a photograph of them on here. Several people have given me instructions on how to do it but I think they underestimate how thick I am.
Soon I will try to catch up and see what has been happening to you all over the past few days, but have to get a letter written and in the post which goes in.........oooh, 40 minutes. Help.
Love you all

Judi can OH compromise and maybe look at a second hand sat nav on eBay as opposed to brand new?
Landing painted. Got new garage door being fitted hopefully week on Friday. Slowly but surely this house is coming together. Shame we will have to sell it :rotfl:
H coming home tonight as he's in Oxford tomorrow so we shall have the Cajun chicken. My parents had to cancel as my gran had hurt her fingers which are now infected, one of them really badly. She's got to keep it elevated so my parents may end up stopping the night there.I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

Lou - glad to hear baby is doing well x
Looong and boring day in work. It was our 'all Wales staff day', never thrilling and we set off at 7.30am and only got back at 6pm. Nice to see some colleagues I don't see very often, but pointless day. Nice buffet though!
I've ordered an un-OS pizza takeaway, but will use LO's for lunch etc. So tired, think it will be food, bath and early night for me. I will get to take the time back, but not til Friday.

Late again today. I have had problems with my legs and hands swelling again, so it is really sore to use a mouse or even type

Hi all,
If anyone is in the market for an OH, I have one I could part with easily....one careful owner, main disadvantage is that he will be 72 on Friday.... maybe Freecycle, all I want is PEACE.
Not quite so cold here today, having trouble putting on tights following my fall last January, managed it 2 days this week, got some new ones to-day so all set for tomorrow.
Mossy has found something ( live) that he hates in one of the sheds, he has spent most of the day barking at it/them from the door....brother says that he has from time to time 2 cats around so one of them may have strayed in there, might investigate to-morrow.
Welcome JKJ...this is a lovely friendly thread, few lunatics around but you get used to us/them after a while.
Hugs to all who are having a bad time due to illness, financial or personal problems.
Stay safe and sleep well.
