I bought a fabby little screwdriver thingy when I had my eyes tested last time - it clips onto your keyring and one end has a phillips head and the other a flat head - all teeny tiny and just the right size for tightening specs up. It was about £4.

I wear specs every day (can't have lenses due to my prescription) and tighten the screws on them about once a month - they work loose with the opening and closing.

It's got nothing to do with the price - screws wear loose whether your specs cost £1 or £1,000.
We may not have it all together, but together we have it all
