Redundancy advice - but I have 2 jobs...

I have 2 jobs in the same organisation.
Post 1 - 22 hours is being made redundant
Post 2 - 15 hours - not being reviewed at the moment
My question is, I don't want to stay just working 15 hours! Can I take redundancy from the organisation as whole?
I asked and they said they would get advice. But I need to know where I stand legally.

If post 2 is not being made redundant then there is no obligation on the employer to make you redundant from post 2 regardless of whats happening with post 1.
That is where you stand but if you are lucky they may decide to agree to making you redundant from post 2 but they don't have to.0 -
Sorry but its unlikely that they will make you redundant from post 2 as well, as it is the role that is redundant rather than the person. So if there is no longer a requirement for post 1 there are grounds for redundancy but not post 2, why would a company have money going out of the organisation that they dont have to.Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0

Thanks for the replies, it's what I suspected unfortunately. It's very unfair as I was put under pressure to apply for post 2 and reduce my hours in post 1 6 months ago.
I have spoken to ACAS and they were also very helpful as there is something in my letter offering me post 2 that could go in my favour (I don't want to go into it here though)
Keeping my fingers crossed, as I feel as others would that I just want to go now!0 -
Why would you want no work rather than part time.
Look for other jobs and if something full time comes up quit role 2.0 -
Because I would lose a substantial amount of redundancy money if I am only made redundant from one job as I have been in the company a long time.
I am pleased to say I have been called for 2 interviews today! It's a good start as I have only applied for 2 jobs so far0 -
Is this an enhancced company redundancy scheme rather than statutory?0
-
It will be statutory.0

I can't believe it, they are still going through a consultation after 3 weeks. This feels like it's going on forever, I just need to know what's happening!
I have had 2 job interviews so far and not got either job so feeling a bit down.:(0 -
If you want to leave you need to look for things that indicate this is realy one job with 2 bits to it
How are you paid do you get multiple pay slips and p60s
Do you get seperate holiday allowances/benifits
if only one thats a good indicator it is one job0 -
I just get one wage slip (and one holiday allowance), but the two jobs are on a different payscale - the job I am being made redundant from is the lower paid one.0
