Refused joint bank account, No regular income

First thing I would say to myself before I got a joint account with anybody would be - can I trust the other person I am going to open an account with?
Once you do this you are financially linked? So if its a new partner and things are going smoothly, you've just moved in together - me personally I would seriously think about jumping in the deep end.
To answer your question would any bank take you both on for a joint account, the answer would be for a current account probably no, because most high street banks require a minimum amount every month to be paid in and for you to be employed - whether it be self-employed or PAYE. Which obviously you both can't commit to.0
