Hi,
I would like to set up a new e-mail address that is not one of the free ones like gmail/hotmail. Preferably one that will allow me to attach a large file rather than the small limits that google and hotmail provide. I don't mind if I have to pay a low yearly fee as long as the company is reliable. Also need to be able to use it on Outlook 2007.
Thanks

What's wrong with google's limits? They're actually about at the maximum end of standard attachment size limits for any email. What size were you thinking of. 10 MiB is probably the max you'll find anywhere and even then many recipients' ISPs may not even be able to accept that."She is quite the oddball. I just want something that looks more proffessional, plus I cannot get googlemail to work on outlook 2007."He's a maniac, maniac that's for sure,

I'd advise getting your own domain name. I buy mine from UKreg. You can use your ISP's email address in outlook and simply set the domain to forward the emails to your ISP email address. Alternatively you could pay extra for webspace (maybe £30 to 40 per year) which includes pop3 and so you can use your domain's email settings directly in outlook without any forwarding. I've also found it advantageous giving different email addresses to different companies online, eg amazon@mydomain.co.uk and ebay@mydomain.co.uk that way you know if (and who) they are passing on your address to others."She is quite the oddball. Hmm I am with bulldog at the moment, and to have an e-mail address with them is around £30 a year. Is there anyone cheaper than this?"He's a maniac, maniac that's for sure,

I'd have thought your ISP would provide a default email address anyway. But there's always exceptions I guess. I use fasthosts for hosting http://www.fasthosts.co.uk/email/mailplus/. They seem to charge about £15 per year for pop3 plus £3ish per year for domain registration from UKreg and that should still be much cheaper than Bulldog and you have a professional looking address that's independant of the ISP you're with."She is quite the oddball. Can I just ask...do I need a domain...I just really want the professional looking e-mail address?
I am not familier with the whole domain thing!

In other words, you can register maniac886.com and then use maniac@maniac886.com as your e-mail address. You don't actually need to set up a website on https://www.maniac886.com if you don't want to.
The whole of my extended family use a shared domain name for e-mail purposes only.0
