Sky+HD Free Upgrade on Cancellation

Hi Guys,
Just a FYI, I called Sky on Saturday 3rd Nov, I was considering moving to Virgin Media for my TV. I have an old grey Sky+ box that's not HD capable and Sky had quote me £200 to upgrade it. I called them and told them I was considering switching as I couldn't justify that when I could get a box from free with Virgin and asked what I need to do to cancel my Sky account.
I didn't get put through to cancellations, the girl I was speaking with asked if I'd stay if she could get me a deal. She offered a free Sky+HD box, free delivery and half price HD package for 12 months if I stayed which I was very happy with!
