£30 discount off £99 at very?
Yes, plus £7 cash back through Topcashback or Quidco. Only downside is you need to be a new Very credit customer so it involves a credit search. But with the discount and cash back the phone comes in at a net £66!

Thanks for this. [G300 reference] I read the thread on here before starting my own wanted thread but was somewhat baffled by the techspeak in some of the posts ........
the thread went a bit technical with the process of DIY upgrades, but right out of the box the G300 is a great phone with STD android system and you can install any apps you like
only thing you may need to do is unlock it to your sim and I posted a link to this in very first postWhen will the "Edit" and "Quote" button get fixed on the mobile web interface?0 -
Grrrrr gone through registering with Topcashback then through to Very - spent ages going through this site to make sure I was doing everything right. Eventually took steps to purchase it but when it got to locating my local 'collect plus' store for delivery it froze, then froze again and yet again. Eventually had to go onto saynoto0870 site to find alternative geographical number for Very. Very obviously couldn't do anything about any cashback so he told me to try the Very site later
I think I deserve an additional reduction - even at minimum wage rates - for the time I've now spent trying to buy the phone

Certainly in the case of topcashback view the time it took you to register as an investment - we have as a family had literally thousands of pounds in cash back over the years. With regards to Very, I'm not sure they allow you to collect at store with your first order? i think you will have to take the hit on the £3.95 P&P. My £66 net figure certainly includes postage costs. Good luck!0

I went from the ZTE Blade to the G300 and am very happy. Do not bother to upgrade to ICS leave it as it as it works just great0

Thanks for all your advice. I ordered a G300 from 'Very' this morning and got the £30 new customer discount
Only got .99 for ordering through topcashback though but mustn't grumble

Phone eventually arrived after poor service from Very and the courier Yodal but that's another story and out of the goodness of their hearts (!!!) knocked off the £4.95 delivery charge.
It was locked but I threw myself at the mercy of the Vodaphone store and they unlocked it for free (after initially telling me it would be £20).
It's a straightforward intuitive phone, thank goodness. I'm using my old giffgaff sim so didn't have to mess about with transferring contacts etc. I've not really changed anything apart from keyboard. Managed through trial and error to transfer some music onto it though. All in all very chuffed for £68.01
Thanks for your all your help :T I'll get you, my pretty, and your little dog too!0
