Trouble is not everyone knows they can be replaced or knows someone who will do it.
So end up around £60 - £70 to replace with fittingMansion TV. Avoid at all cost's :j0 -
I too would be interested in the advice.
I have a 14yr old who wants either a tablet or laptop for Christmas. My WHOLE budget for her presents is £200, and haven't got much more I can add to that.
Obviously a laptop is going to be better for her for homework etc but tablets seem to be the way to go. So confused.
Hi Donna, you could get both if you don't mind a cheaper tablet and a refurbished laptop.....I've just bought a refurb laptop, super spec from a business in Lancaster for £150 and HMV recently had some good deals for tablets at £80 or so....I know that's a bit more than your budget, but if the laptop is "just" for homework (ie no gaming etc) a cheaper one should be good enough and most laptops are perfectly adequate for day-to-day internet use and using spreadsheets, word processing etc.....I'm not connected with this business, but they are good lads and have supplied me with kit over a few years....do a google search on mandmcomputers for examples, and search to find someone locally if they're too far away as I'm sure you'll find someone doing refurbs near you...
Good luck!0 -
