Best lawnmower & best place to get one?

I'd definately recommend the Bosch Rotak 34 - bought from Homebase for £89.99 a couple of weeks ago and it's excellent on a medium sized lawn which had rather long grass and is quite bumpy. The mower is very light even when the grass box is full. That's Numberwang!0

I was at my local screwfix trade counter today and they had this works mower reduced to 89 quid with a free works strimmer that sells for 39 quid.

Why is petrol better than electric ? We have a medium size garden ... B&Q guy said it's just the cord issue ...I was looking at the ryobi on special (self propelled) for £115 ... or flymo electric similar price ... any advice ?0

Ignoring the fact this is a 3 year old thread, I would say avoid Flymo like the plague.
Petrol may have more cutting power than many electric's but if going electric just choose a decent rated wattage motor. I have a Bosch Rotak now for a couple of years and its been great. They are often on special at various places so keep an eye out.
A cheap petrol mower may be more trouble than its worth for general light use IMO0 -
As above Bosch Rotak, got 1 for £60 from FocusANURADHA KOIRALA ??? go on throw it in google.0
