Just to let you know that he's done his thing & after 3 days is back to normal in the poo department.
Nothing has changed. Same routine, same food, same everything.... it's weird. He will stay like this for weeks now & then it'll start again.
Can it be food related? Or stress (I don't know what)? Maybe something else?
I'm slowly working thro the links but have no time during the week.... thanks to all that posted infoAlways try to be at least half the person your dog thinks you are!0 -
I use charcoal for Zara when/if she has an upset tummy. It normally helps, I need to give her a lot though - you need to see body weight of the dog and give charcoal according to that0

Fireworks???Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.0 -
Quick update.
After reading all the links posted (thanks) I decided to start with the simple stuff first & if that didn't work to move onto things like raw diets etc.
So I invested in some Protexin recommended by rising from the ashes & not a single squit since, so much so that he's only on one measure every other day.
It's early days yet I suppose but this is the longest he's ever gone so fingers crossed

Haven't read all replies but you can buy treats that contain charcoal. Wainwrights from Pets At Home do them. Might be any easier way to feed it and also CSJ do charcoal treats called Dem Bones. I was going to buy myself as my dog was having issues with anal glands and going toilet but she fine now she on Eden Dry food.0
