  • I wanted to order an iPad for a Christmas present, found the one I wanted and tried to order online but it would not accept my details. So, I thought I would order by phone, only problem is, the phone number is wrong on the site and it took me a few attempts to figure out that there should not be a zero at the start of the number.
    I was connected to sales IMMEDIATELY, they told me the order was being processed but it would be 24 hrs before they could confirm if my payment had been accepted ( this is payment with a debit card) I try to ring customer services, am told you are in a queue 23-28 mins, hang up and call back. I did, and was told I had less than a minute to wait - 25 MINUTES LATER, I'm still not connected.
    In the meantime, I had stumbled across some scary reviews of this company ( actually pages and pages of scary reviews )
    I tried to contact CS again, still no luck. So I rang sales with the hope of being transferred ( a little alarmed that there seems to be only 1 person working in sales as I rang 3 times at various times during the day and got the same patronizing individual)
    Oddly, the following day, I got an email saying my payment didn't process and they had sent me a Paypal invoice ( they know where they can stick that! )
    I've since ordered the item from Amazon, while they may be €40 more expensive, the item WILL turn up ( and in a lot of cases via couriers ) they are helpful, polite and above all else TRUSTED.
