Has anyone been given a date when the S3 lte sim-free will be available ?

I recently gave my daughter my old Galaxy S2 because I was about to order an S3. However, the brakes were quickly applied when I realised the lte S3 sim free is currently on sale in Germany.
Now, I wont be using 4G until its available on some such PAYG service as GiffGaff. But I don't fancy paying out £400 for the current S3, only to see its resale value plummet through the floor when the sim free lte version becomes available.
