Samsung Galaxy S3 w/ Unlimited Internet

Hi All,

After doing some searching around I thought I'd just check here to see if there are any other deals I may be missing...

Atm I have a basic £10 PAYG phone but was wanting to upgrade to Samsung Galaxy S3. I rarely make phonecalls currently and mainly text (around 300/month) and want the smartphone mainly for apps, watching videos, internet browsing so my requirements are:

minimum 100 minutes
minimum 500 texts /month
Unlimited data

So far it seems like the best deal is for me to buy the phone sim free from amazon which is £389 and then get the Virgin sim only (150 minutes, unlimited texts & browsing, £12/month). Works out total of £676 over 24 months or equivilant £28/month...

I'd imagine contracts are cheaper but the only unlimited data ones I could find tend to have way too many minutes for my need. I could find 3 offered 100mins/5000 texts/unlimited data over 24 month contract for £32/month but it works out more expensive than the sim free deal above...

Any other options people could suggest?
