Shall I get a new laptop with Vista or XP Which laptop to get on DELL?

Might be worth checking the Dell outlet page on E-Bay, they sell cosmetically slightly damaged pc's at reduced prices. Some good deals, and who cares about the odd scratch or dent, as long as it's new and functioning, with guarantee.

i bought a new
dell inspiron 1501 last month .. with vista ....... sent it back and exchanged it for one with XP . !!!!.... just couldn't cope with trying to work out all the new ways with vista.

there is the old saying "if it ain't broke don't fix it" .. i'm finding more and more that as long as something is doing the job you want it to .. stick with what you know !.

My boyfriend got a laptop from here which apparently had "a minor scratch, not on the screen" We've both looked all over the laptop and can't see a scratch anywhere. It was perfect and a good price

As for the operating system I'm not keen on windows anyway so don't really know but in a few years everything will be made for vista and xp will surely just be like windows 98. It might be weird at first but you should pick it up after a while. Agree with others I wouldn't update an existing computer, but if you're buying new.

I ordered my new apple laptop the other day, Hope you have more patience than me waiting for it to be delivered.
