Anyway, they have ruined my Christmas.

A couple of years ago, I had a Christmas gift delivered to the door - not wrapped, and with all of the labels stuck to the actual box. Very annoying.

It's common sense not to take the kids when you pick their presents up.

I can't see how that's cause for complaint?!

Rot, absolute rot.
To actually dispel what goes on here:
* If an item comes in a resonable sized square/ rectangular box (Approximately shoebox size & above), then the labels will be directly stuck onto this.
* If an item is oddly sized/ shaped, then a blue bag will be wrapped around it, and boxed if appropriate. (Basically if it's unstackable)
* In some cases, multiple items will come in one outer box, but this depends on where they've been picked from.
* Large items (Chairs etc) will be shrink wrapped and sent in on pallets.
