I am appealing - Parking Eye - please advise

Thank everybody,
Some great input.
I am worried that it would look like im admitting guilt if I started mentioning court references. Would POPLA even consider previous court cases in an appeal? Seems a bit deep for essentially, London council parking teams (POPLA) to read)
Also is there any chance PE own or have a a proprietary interest such as a lease? As I didnt do anything wrong I dont want to pay Land Charges to find out the owner.
Then I will add that as shown in the PE vs Somerfields court case only the land owner, not PE, could issue court claims for recovery of parking charges. I googled the case and from what I gather that was the outcome, although it did seem more detailed than that. Unless I misinterpreted the outcome?
Additionally is it worth mentioning, that its a free car park, and as such, even if I was there for four hours (which I wasn't) a £100 invoice is not appropriate to the losses incurred by the owner.0 -
Look this is not a court, you are not admitting anything, you will not be guilty of this, these invoices are speculative and borderline illegal themselves. Just do a simple letter/email to PE rejecting their charge, if they take it to popla then you can come back here for more advice, just take it one step at a time. Just make sure you head any correspondence with the words 'Without Prejudice' this then cannot normally be used in a small claim should they be foolish enough to go there.Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?0
