Windows 8 pro upgrade £24-99 question

I have since found that although it will install on a clean machine, it will not activate as states that the key is for an upgrade and not new install.
Further problem that I have encountered is that I downloaded it via my desktop which is running 64bit, hence I have a 64 bit copy. Theintention was to put it on my old laptop running 32 bit XP. Nope you can't do that either.
Just download the 32 bit DVD.0 -
As far as I can see you need to pay again to get the 32 bit
I wanted 64 bit anyway, Laptop was only running 32 bit because the driver situation was so dire at the time of install. I didn't realise that it would be so picky about it. I have now found a possible solution and am currently trying it out now. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Succesfully installed Win 8 Pro 64bit as a 'clean' install. I first had to install the 64bit consumer preview version and then 'upgrade' it with the 64bit pro retail upgradeThis is a system account and does not represent a real person.
