A threaded I started has actually just appeared , but this does not account for the many others posts that do not get through that i have posted .0
-
There are no real accounts. It's a fake site, just one person posting using multiple accounts.0

There are many nutters on hpc.
Nevertheless, it is one of the best places for economic/political debate and analysis.
As I have said, I do enjoy reading many of the viewpoints , it is just when very unbiased post that I have made do to not get through it makes me start to question .
However I do enjoy reading a lot the stuff on there and I do believe they would have had their cars with BoE intervention .
I just wish they would allow more opposite views .0 -
Congratulations.
(by the way the VAT on new houses thing won't happen)
Thanks ,
So far my opening post is the only one that has show up ,and yes I agree I do not think it will happen either .Not when luxemburg is allowed to charge such low rates of VAT the way they do .I know they do not do it on houses ,but surely the same principle .0 -

....I know I am not very good at expressing my self through a keyboard so perhaps this is the reason, not articulate enough .
Your posts are more articulate than many we get on here.....
However, they would be marginally more readable if you punctuated them properly. By not inserting a space before the full stop or comma. Like this. Not like this .0 -

I get your point and I think I also need to slow down. I am often in such a hurry to get my point across that my brain and fingers do not work in tandem. I sometimes read back on what I have written and cringe at the errors.0 -
I enjoy reading the forum but I am staring to question the balance if there is other people like me that never have their post show up as well .
Yes, this happened to me quite recently. I created a new account, posted a few times quite normally, but did question one poster who claimed that his savings paid his rent so therefore he was in no rush to buy, I think this was Bruce Banner. Unlikely someone has £400k in the bank and is waiting for price drops.
Next thing Im on moderator approval.
Personally I think it is best not to give such a forum extra traffic and make it appear more popular, the people on there that are left are very one sided. Maybe they always were and I was just not wise enough to realise.0 -
Yes you are probably right and it looks like I have been banned.
I wont bother any more.
It must be because of this thread, which I tried to be balanced over but felt really needed posting. I hope this thread remains so that people will see that although there is some good and interesting points of view it is mostly not balanced at all and that is no better than what happens in China, in fact I would say this is worse.
They even have is it so you cannot read the forum ,although I got around that now but I wont give them any more traffic. People should feel free to go there for information, but remember that they only have one viewpoint so at least take that into account when reading it, because to buy or not too buy a house is life changing decision.
